Comment by Zack Witt on December 7, 2011 at 6:02pm yea the torsion keys will get you about 2 inches of lift in the front max. any farther and you snap the torsion bar. as far as an add a leaf goes ive never done one, but if you want a cheaper eoute you can always get lift shackles for the back
Comment by stuart brandewie on December 7, 2011 at 2:13pm yea iv been lookin into it ... I found an add a leaf for the back an torsion keys or somethin online
Comment by Zack Witt on December 6, 2011 at 5:25pm well i asume your 98 has the coil springs like mine. I used coil spring spacers on my truck but in my personal opinion i wouldnt recomend them. i recieved a much harder ride and it puts alot more strain on your ball joints. id recomend the lift spindles. you can keep the same ride quality. you pay more and you need to do a bit of grinding on the lower control arm but i think its the route id go. i plan on taking the spacers out and doing longer coils and the spindles. as far for the rear you can just use the blocks from a 4x4 to get 2 inches of lift or try a add a leaf.
