"Welllll....... The picture is hard to see details, but I'd say that age is the best suspect. They get old, the start to split, then engine vacuum pulls them in. Just get a new gasket."

Finally got all the water and watery oil drained out of my hydrolocked 4.0, but when I pulled the plastic part of the intake off to clean it out I realized that the gasket in the intake it's self is split and blocking about 1/5 of both the rear cylinder intakes along with a lot of carbon build up. Anyone know what would have caused a gasket to split and push into the intake ports? I'm not sure what type of gasket it is, it was really stiff...  …See More
