"modified exploder 8.8 axle, the 4.10 factory posi with a couple of extra clutch discs works really well, no friction modifier just synthetic, and the disc brakes with performance pads really help slow down the 35" 12.50 15" BFG's"

"I'd love to run a beast like that, but like you said, saving. are you still running a stock motor? If so I'm assuming a free-breathing 4.0. There are so many simple small-block V8 swaps, it's worth doing when you swap to a 6spd tranny."

my truck

1) fabtech 5 1/2" lifta-arms and spindles and coils,
2) superlift 8" explorer rear lift springs with two leaves removed (no blocks) custom 5/8" u-bolts
3) explorer, 8.8, 31spline, disc brake, large tube, posi, trussed and welded tubes
4) trick-flow girdle cover (with trick-flow machined off) on 8.8 rear
5) weld rims(5 ea)
6) BFG all terrains 35"x12.50x15 (5 ea)
7) home built single 5' traction/anti wrap barjust next to the drive shaft with shackle and heim at front and urethane bushings at the axle, custom cross member and fuel tank support
8) 4 ea pro-comp MX-6 adjustable shocks
9) high-lift jack mounted with the spare tire
10) 120 wall 2" tube welded between the rear lower a-arm mounts
11) custom home built front bumper with skid plate and rear bumpers and spare tire mount (by myself)
12) fiberglass front 6" bulge fenders
13) fiberglass rear 4" bulge trophy truck style fenders
14) 4ea home made offroad 55 watt H.I.D. lights 4300k (only two mounted at this time)
15) aftermarket headlights clear w/faceted reflector with 35 watt H.I.D. high/low bulbs 6000k
16) clear turn/marker lights with amber bulbs
17) clear tail lights
18) three trumpet air horns (to get idiots attention)
19) bed support bars welded in and bed rhino lined
20) modified air box with ram air from the grill and a K&N air filter
21) larger MAF
22) larger throttle body
23) hot coil pac, after-market 8mm wires, better platinum plugs
24) dyno-sources custom tune chip on back of ecm
25) MSD stacker multiple spark ignition
26) headers with 2 1/4" secondary tubes to 3," cat, 3" flowmaster, 3" out the rea,r 4" tip out the fender
27) modified battery tray to put the larger group size battery
28) autometer 0-8000 monster tach
29) tinted driver and passenger and top of windsheild
30) all synthetic mobil 1 5-20 wt oil in motor (since new) mobil 1 atf in trans mobil 1 in rear diff




projects and things i have all of most of the parts to do;
1) urethane motor and transmission mounts (AUTOFAB) -i have these
2) offroad seats, sliders and mounts (racetrim) -i have these
3) tr6060 6-speed transmission (ford cobra spec)- i have all the parts
adaptor plate and parts, ford racing cobra shifter, spec stage three clutch disc and pressure plate
4) relocate battery - i have all the large parts
aluminum diamond plate black anodized, cables, battery shut off
5) belt driven blower - i have all the large parts
mounting brkt, aluminum tube, blower rated hose and clamps, some fuel system parts, belt
6) rhino line for the bumpers in blue with out the little specs
7) hino liner for the lower body line down with the chunks


things i am dreaming of and saving money for i will do all the work myself...

four link rear suspension/bed cage approx $3000
full interior cage tied to bed and engine cages $1500
fuel cell and plumbing $1500
4.88 gears Gleason torsion diff and after market axles with c clip eliminator kit
