Ranger Mods

K&N Cold air intake, Magnaflow exhaust, Airaid throttle body spacer, 3" body lift (Performance Accessories), 3" suspension lift (Superlift), 33/12.50-15 Boggers, Custom front driveshaft, performance tuned with Superchips, premuim spark plugs (Bosch platinum, quad-flanged) after I fouled the other ones out. These perform way better in the water.

I plan on putting 4.10 gears, front and rear, and Detroit limited slips front and rear. Going to fab a custom bumper so I quit exploding that damned transmission oil cooler all over the place (This is my 3rd one). Gonna get a Warn 8000lb wench, and do a little fender trimming so I can get her running on 35's. Oh yeah, skid plates. ;)

I am considering an engine swap, but we'll see how she handles with the 35's first before I make any big plans like that. The 4.0L SOHC V6 is a mighty fine little engine.

Things I've broken Off-Road:
Windshield, 2 transmission oil coolers, 2 CV axles, Front driveshaft, fouled plugs, 3 flat tires (destroyed pretty much), Exhaust mounting brackets, Bumper (ripped off twice, beat up twice, and finally I just ripped it off because I was tired of fixing it) and my foglights went with the bumper the first time. Passenger's side-view mirror, power steering, idler pulley, and sway bar. Added to the list wheel bearings (x3) and tie rod ends.

She's been through hell, but she's one hell of a truck.

Gunk giving your shiny wheels a not so shiny appearance?

I find the fastest and easiest way to remove stuck on gunk and brake dust from my wheels is using my patented two step process:

Step 1: Drive through thick sloppy mud

Step 2: Rinse

The mud itself actually has to come up about half-way on the tire, but it really makes em' shine!

If gunk is not completely removed, or you thoroughly enjoyed step 1, follow step 3.

Step 3: Repeat

Hope you enjoy!
